United Hospital Fund’s Gala is one of New York’s premier health care events, held annually in October. 

The Gala is an annual tradition that for decades has brought together health care, business, and community leaders to support UHF’s work to build a more effective health care system, and to honor exceptional leaders for their contributions to hospitals and health care.

    The Distinguished Community Service Award recognizes volunteer leadership of a specific initiative that significantly improves health care in New York.

    The Special Tribute recognizes the achievements of individuals or organizations that have had a significant impact on health care in New York City and earned the respect and admiration of UHF and the broader health care community.
