Enormous progress has been made, but health care quality, safety, and outcomes remain far too variable—and patients’ priorities and well-being too often don’t receive the attention they merit. In response, UHF is working to help train quality improvement leaders, promote best practices in patient and family engagement, improve quality measurement, increase reliability and efficiency, and foster innovation in care delivery.
