This newly updated snapshot of the uninsured in New York, based on data from 2002-2003, provides information on demographics and trends in health insurance coverage in New York. The chart book describes the characteristics of the uninsured by income, employment status, and age, and includes data on coverage among workers and low-income New Yorkers. It also shows data on trends in coverage between 2000-2001 and 2002-2003 and presents estimates of the number of uninsured New Yorkers who are eligible for public health insurance.
