New York Medicaid is in the middle of an ambitious transformation of its delivery system and move toward value-based purchasing, while at the same time staring down an existential crisis in the form of Congress’s Affordable Care Act repeal-and-replace efforts. This year’s annual Medicaid conference will focus on the future of New York’s program in the context of how far it has come over the last few years, and how it can continue to innovate in uncertain times. Sessions will cover a range of issues including DSRIP and payment reform, behavioral health services in the program, and the future of Medicaid and CHIP from a federal and state policy perspective.
