Gregory C. Burke

Director, Innovation Strategies


Gregory Burke is director of Innovation Strategies at United Hospital Fund. He has written a number of publications on a range of health care policy and financing issues. He has authored a number of papers on the evolution and spread of the medical home model in New York State and on the movement toward accountable care in New York State.

Prior to joining the Fund, Mr. Burke served as vice president for planning at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, NY, where he was responsible for supporting strategic program planning and facilities planning and development, as well as the medical center's programs of community service. While at Montefiore, he participated in the expansion of its ambulatory care network, the creation and implementation of its managed care strategy, and the development of the Bronx RHIO.

He holds a BA from Colgate University and an MPA from NYU's Wagner School.
