Catherine Arnst

Director, Public Information


Catherine Arnst is director of public information, responsible for UHF’s public and internal communications. An award-winning health journalist, she came to UHF from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, where she was the communications officer for media relations; earlier she was vice president and director of content development for the health practice at Edelman Public Relations. Ms. Arnst was previously a senior writer covering medicine and health care for BusinessWeek; European science correspondent for Reuters News Service, based in London; and  Reuters Boston correspondent, specializing in medical and technology coverage. She has also freelanced for numerous outlets including the Boston Globe, US News & World Report, Kaiser Health News, and The Daily Beast. Ms. Arnst holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Boston University.
